Chef Jared Wentworth brings more than 12 years of Executive Chef experience to Longman & Eagle, and has a long history of delivering globally inspired cuisine with an emphasis on local, organic, and sustainably raised food products.

Longman & Eagle has received numerous accolades under his stewardship, a ‘Best New Restaurants in America’ nod from Esquire Magazine, as well as various plaudits from the likes of The Chicago Reader, GQ, Time Out Chicago and many, many others. Longman has also been awarded a ‘star’ in the Chicago edition of The Michelin Guide for seven years running, in the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 editions.

Despite his love for the many luxury products that are featured in his dishes, Wentworth believes dining should be affordable and have price points that draw a large and varied clientele. Seasonality and sustainability are first and foremost in the menu making process, and a profound sense of care and respect are used in brining the best farm and pasture products to the table.
