L&E Flights

We tasted barrel after barrel of bourbon looking for our favorites. Once we found the best, we bottled it up and brought it back to Logan Square. Please enjoy these fine whiskeys hand selected by Longman & Eagle.

WHISKEY FLIGHTS 3 - 3/4 oz tastes

“It’s All About The Barrel” Flight 14
Follow this whiskey on its path from white corn whiskey into 10 year old bourbon. All three of these whiskeys use the same traditional bourbon mash bill of mostly corn, finished with some rye and malted barley. Here we see the whiskey at different points in its aging, from white
dog, to 4 years old, and finally culminating in 10 year old, single barrel bourbon.
—Buffalo Trace White Dog Mash #1
—Benchmark Bourbon
—Eagle Rare 10yr

“It’s All About The Grain” Flight 16
These farm focused distillers are revolutionizing the way we think about grain varietals in whiskey production by highlighting locally grown heirloom grains as a major factor in whiskey production.
—A.D. Laws Four Grain Bourbon Batch #1
—Far North Roknar Minnesota Rye
—J. Henry & Sons Cask Strength Bourbon

The Whiskey Thief 21
Like drilling into a barrel and pulling a dram straight from the barrel these offerings are all un-cut. This flight will lead you through a standard Recipe Rye Bourbon, a Wheated Bourbon, and a Straight Rye- but beware- this flight is not for the faint-hearted.

—Maker’s Mark Cask Strength
—Michter’s Cask Strength Rye

Rolling With The Homies... 18

Pappy Van Who? 25
When Julian “Pappy” Van Winkle acquired the “Old Fitzgerald” brand, he successfully turned it into one of the best selling bourbon brands in America. When the Van Winkle family had to sell off their interest in the Stitzel-Weller distillery, which produced the famous brand, they held on to one label, Old Rip Van Winkle. It is produced in partnership with the Buffalo Trace distillery to this date.
—Old Fitzgerald Bonded
—Old Rip Van Winkle 107

—Sazerac Rye
—Old Maysville Club Malted Rye
—Whistle Pig 10yr

The Expatriate’s Flight 24
The explosion in popularity of whiskey around the world has naturally lead to the spread of its production to countries that we don’t typically think of as whiskey producing regions, but these single malt producers are creating award-winning world-class whiskies that are as varied and nuanced as your favorite Scottish,
American or Japanese brands.
—Brenne 10yr Single Malt {France}
—Kavalan Concertmaster Single Malt {Taiwan}

RARE FLIGHTS 3 - 3/4 oz tastes
On this list you will find some of the rarest and hardest to find whiskey in our collection. Some of them are limited releases from the past few years, but we’ve also been able to acquire
some whiskey from years gone by. We think all the whiskey on our menu is amazing, but these few deserve a little extra attention. Cheers! Pricing and availability subject to change.
